This little trick really adds flavor to fresh or frozen (Sister Shubert) rolls. It is easy, but often overlooked as an option for serving at the dinner table. For added panache, chill butter in butter molds, which can be purchased on Amazon.

Let the butter come to room temperature.

You will need:
1 stick unsalted butter, softened at room temperature
1/8 teaspoon of two to three dried herbs of your choice (I like to use thyme, oregano and parsley)

Add herbs.
Add herbs.

Mash the butter. Add the herbs. Mix well.

Put the butter in butter molds, wrap in waxed paper and form into a log, or put in a small bowl. If you use a bowl or mold, spray a little Pam in the cavity before adding the butter. This will make releasing easier.

Form into a log or put into individual butter molds.

Chill for a couple of hours. Unmold (or remove wax paper) and serve with hot rolls. Your family and guests will love it!
