If you haven’t tried this brand of eye shadow, then let me give you a tip…the cream shadow actually stays in place!

I could stop with that statement, as no eye shadow ever stays in place on my eyelids.  By the end of the day, they are usually in a line at the fold of my eyelid.  Ugh!

I was made aware of ColourPop when a colleague had on the most beautiful white color of eyeshadow.  In the light it had a hint of pink and blue.  I asked her about it.  She gave me the brand, ColourPop, and the color, Snow Capped Mountains, which was no longer available.  They also make lip gloss, lipstick, lip liner, foundation, concealer, blush, and highlighter.

When you check out ColourPop’s website, if you are over 20 years of age, you might move on.  Many of their color offerings, and seemingly their followers, are young.  One of their co-branded lines is My Little Pony…if that tells you anything.  However, I did purchase an ultra glossy lip color from that line that I love (Dream Castle).  It is hot pink and glittery and makes me happy when I wear it. More importantly, it stays in place, wears well, and doesn’t collect in my lip lines!

In addition to the lip gloss, I purchased two Lippies, which are twist up lip color.  They perform as well as the gloss.

I have not tried the powder eye shadows.  However, I have tried their Super Shock Shadow in what they call a “crème powder formula.”  It goes on easily and stays in place all day long!  It comes in matte, satin, and all sorts of glittery forms.  The descriptions tells you the base color as well as any secondary colors you will see in the glimmer.  I have a few of the shimmery colors to use as highlights or for special occasions, but the mattes are great for work wear!

I have also ordered their foundation, which comes in many, many different tints (42 if you are counting), so you are sure to get a perfect match for your coloring.

My only request for ColourPop is that they offer a few more basic colors of browns and taupes in their crème powder formula eye shadow.  The press powder shadows seem to offer a larger range of colors I normally wear.  I hope to try a powder shadow soon just to see if it has the same staying power as the crème powder.

The shadows cost about $5 a piece (unless you catch a sale), which really isn’t bad.  And, they offer free shipping if you purchase a certain amount of product.

I have liked everything I have purchased from ColourPop.  Just thought I would share!
