I love hot chocolate…maybe a little too much. This year I found a really good mix, Hot Cow Cow, while at Weir’s Country Store. It mixes well with hot milk, and there is not as much residue left in the bottom of the glass. It is sweet, but doesn’t taste too sweet.
I originally purchased it because the flavor, chocolate truffle, sounded amazing and since my hometown used to be the dairy capital I loved the cows on the packaging. The only problem is that I can’t find this brand of mix online anywhere. However, I did find one brand, Sillycow, very similar in packaging and was also made with hot milk. Once I tried it, I found it also mixed well with the milk. And of course it was equally as tasty. Chocolate Sea Salt and Caramel – yum!
You can find this mix on Amazon if you can’t find it locally. Give it a try. I think you will like it. You will probably like it so much that you will moooo-ve the other hot chocolate mixes out of the pantry. Ha!
