You may recall my favorite scented liquid hand soap from four years ago…Dial Garden Blooms (read about it here). Of course, it was soon no longer to be found. I still look for it without any luck!
This year I tried Michel Design Works Lilac and Violets Foaming Hand Soap, and I am in love!
You may recall that I have a thing for violets (read about my violet candy obsession here). I recently purchased a leather coin purse from Thread Up, and when it was delivered it smelled like violets. I loved it even more due to its scent! And to my delight, Guerlain Météorites powder smells of violets as well.
Back to the topic at hand (do I get a point for a pun? Ha!), this soap smells amazing. At first, I didn’t smell the violets, but now I do. It is not too overpowering but is so fresh and light. And, after washing my hands, I can still smell the scent for a while afterwards.
The Michel Design Works foaming hand soap is a bit more expensive than Dial, but if you watch for a sale or gift set, you can feel a bit better about your purchase.
Due to Covid, I have rethought how I do things around the house and realized that bar soap in the guest bath is not a good idea. Now I am providing Michel Design Works foaming soap for any guests to use. For the spring and summer, it will be the Lilac and Violets scent.
If you knock on my door and ask to use the guest bath, I will get it! You just want to smell the hand soap!
Michel Design Works products are available at specialty stores, on Amazon.com, and at micheldesignworks.com. The latter offers a store locator which you can search by zip code so that you can shop local.
Do you have a favorite hand soap scent? If so, please share in the comments! And if you aren’t already a subscriber, please do so. I would love to have your participation in the At Home community.
