For many of us, Labor Day marks the end of summer. Back to school, back to football, back to reality, and back to shorter days. It is like summer’s final fling.
Even if we do not have children, the start of the school year reminds all of us of when we were young. New clothes, a return to a routine, and homework. August/September always makes me think it is time to buckle down and accomplish some things.
Just as a refresher, Labor Day become a federal holiday to honor the American labor movement in 1894. While we take a day off work or work our regular job, let’s us honor those who fought to make our work week more bearable and our work conditions safer.
I hope it is a great Labor Day for you! Enjoy!
